Trade workflow support

Trade ECU & Module Support for North East Garages

Practical assessment for ECU cloning, Stage 1 remapping, TCU, BCM, ABS, diagnostic and file enquiries. The proposed route, risks, requirements and price are confirmed before work begins.

Trade process

Send evidence in a useful order

  1. Send the vehicle details. Registration or VIN, make, model, year, engine, fuel type and gearbox.
  2. Send a full diagnostic scan and symptoms. Include warning lights, communication status, previous work and parts already fitted.
  3. Send clear original and donor labels. Add available read information, tool and access method where relevant.
  4. ECU Logic UK assesses compatibility and the supported route. Cloning, coding, programming preparation, diagnosis or remapping are kept distinct.
  5. Requirements, risks and price are confirmed. Vehicle, module, bench, travel and facility needs are agreed before the job.
  6. The garage retains fitting and final-testing responsibility unless otherwise agreed. Any vehicle-side work by ECU Logic UK is defined in the agreed scope.

Programming-route preparation

Programming preparation means identifying the likely supported route, required information, access method, power support and possible vehicle-side steps. It does not mean every OEM procedure can be completed on every vehicle.

Responsibility and authority

The garage should have customer authority over the vehicle and supply accurate information. Proof of ownership or garage authority may be requested for security-related data. Roadworthiness, emissions, MOT and vehicle-security rules continue to apply.

Useful trade information

  • Full scan rather than isolated code screenshots
  • Clear module labels with readable part numbers
  • Original communication and read status
  • Stable power and access available at the vehicle
